Tidewatch Command

Tidewatch Command is a slow-burn strategy game where you defend a chain of harbor towns. You place towers, reroute supply lines, and decide which settlement to sacrifice when you can't save them all. Those hard calls are what stuck with me.

The pacing is deliberate. You get time to plan between waves, then everything happens at once and you're scrambling. Pausing to reassess is encouraged, which makes it work well on a phone where you get interrupted constantly.

There's a fair bit to learn, and the early missions ease you in gently. Once it clicks, it's genuinely hard to put down.
