Quiet games for loud days
Some days you don't want a challenge, you want a place to put your hands and eyes for a while. I've been collecting the games that do that job without asking for anything back.
Lantern Hollow tops the list. Wandering that foggy village with the lantern raised is the closest a phone gets to a deep breath. There's no fail state to speak of, just slow discovery.
Big Bass earns a spot too. Casting a line and waiting is oddly grounding, and the soft sound design does half the work of calming me down.
The thread connecting these is that they don't punish you for stepping away. You can put the phone down mid-cast or mid-walk and nothing bad happens. That forgiveness is the whole appeal.
